PERF Actively Mobilising Resources for Programme Launch
PERF has developed and submitted four project proposals targeting major funders including AGRA and IDRC, while also bidding for consultancy assignments to fund early operations.
Since its registration in May 2025, PERF has been actively working to mobilise resources to support its programme ambitions across agriculture, natural resource management, and climate resilience.
Proposals and Bids
Four project proposals and consultancy bids have already been developed and submitted, targeting a range of funding sources including:
- AGRA (Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa)
- IDRC (International Development Research Centre)
- The European Union
- AUSAID and national agricultural funding mechanisms
Feedback on the submitted proposals is awaited, and additional proposals and bids are currently being developed to broaden PERF's funding pipeline.
Types of Assignments
PERF is positioned to take on a diverse range of assignments including:
- Development of project proposals for funders and development partners
- Consultancies in Natural Resource Management (NRM), Climate Change, and Agribusiness
- Farmer outreach and technology scaling programmes
- Capacity building for farmers and extension staff
- Student internship opportunities
- Organisation of workshops on NRM, Agroforestry, agribusiness, and climate change
