PERF Forging Strategic Partnerships Locally and Globally
PERF is actively building strategic alliances with research institutions, academic universities, development organisations, and donors to amplify its reach and impact.
From its earliest days, PERF has recognised that achieving lasting impact in climate-resilient farming and ecosystem restoration requires strong, trusted partnerships. The organisation is actively working to establish strategic relationships across multiple sectors.
Partnership Focus Areas
- Academic and Research Institutions: Collaborations that enable student exchange programmes, joint research, and knowledge transfer between PERF and universities and research centres.
- Development Organisations: Engagement with like-minded NGOs and international development bodies working in agriculture, climate change, NRM, and food security.
- Government Ministries: Building awareness and alignment with the Ministries of Agriculture, Environment, and other relevant government bodies in Tanzania.
- Donors and Funders: Cultivating relationships with bilateral and multilateral donors, foundations, and private sector actors interested in climate-smart agriculture and ecosystem services.
- Farmers' Cooperatives and Input Suppliers: Working with grassroots agricultural actors to ensure that PERF's research and extension outputs reach the communities that need them most.
PERF believes that no single organisation can address the complexity of climate change and food insecurity alone. Through strategic partnerships, we aim to leverage diverse expertise, resources, and networks to deliver lasting benefit to farming communities across Tanzania.
